My 4 year old daughter just started taking classes at a fantastic new yoga studio in Charleston called The Yoga Room. It is located in an old savings bank and the studio space is just spectacular! They offer classes for adults as well. You can check it out at: The Yoga Room, 1 Thompson Square, Charlestown, MA 02129

Architectural Digest Home Show-O'Lampia
The Architectural Digest Home Show in NYC this past week was one of the best I have ever attended. I think a lot of that can be attributed to Margaret Russell's influence as the new editor in chief.
One of my favorite exhibitors was O'Lampia. I have been using their lighting for years but they have some wonderful new designs. You can visit their showroom at: 155 Bowery, NYC 10002

The NoMad Hotel
I am looking forward to checking out the newly opened NoMad Hotel, located in the Flatiron District in NYC. The hotel is in a turn of the century Beaux-Arts building with interiors by Jacques Garcia. The rooms were designed to have a timeless residential feel about them. The restaurant will feature Chef Daniel Humm of Eleven Madison Park. The Great Houses of Havana
Cuba has always been on my list of places to visit, not only because of its rich culture but also for its amazing architectural history. I am so inspired by these beautiful photos from Hermes Mallea's book The Great Houses of Havana.

Hot Pink India
One of my favorite stores in India was Hot Pink. They have a beautiful mix of home accessories and clothing for men, women and children. I especially loved their exquisitely colored pashminas. There are two locations in Jaipur but I recommend visiting the one in the Amber Fort.

Dhurrie Rugs Jodhpur
One of my favorite experiences on my trip was visiting an amazing dhurrie rug cooperative outside of Jodhpur. The owner and his wife could not have been more warm and welcoming. They showed me how they hand weave the rugs while serving me tea in homemade clay cups. You would never guess anyone would be able to locate them in their rural location but their clients include everyone from Richard Gere to Prince Charles.

India-Samode Palace
I am back from my trip to India and I miss it already. It is the most amazing country I have ever been to. I think it would truly take a lifetime to explore the whole country so I hope this was just the first trip of many!
One of my favorite hotels was the Samode Palace, located an hour outside of Jaipur. The hotel is in a 400 year old Maharaja's palace nestled amongst the mountains. It is well worth a visit!
