DRESS BOSTON + GALLERY NF
I was thrilled when Dress Boston co-owners Jane Schlueter and Martha Pickett approached me a few months ago to design a new store on Charles Street for them. Previously on Newbury Street for 7 years, Dress has been a long time favorite of mine. Jane and Martha have a real talent of combining designers that are current, modern, and consummate closet staples. With designers such as Vanessa Bruno, A.P.C, Loeffler Randall, Current/Elliott and Fiorentini + Baker they bring a unique mix to the Boston market.
They not only wanted a store that had clean modern lines to complement their clothing, they also wanted to include home accessories and furniture in their new location. I am excited to be featuring custom, sourced and vintage products under the label Gallery NF. These products will also be available soon on gallerynf.com.
Dress Boston will officially open their doors tomorrow at 70 Charles Street in Beacon Hill.

Samuel & Caitlin Dowe-Sandes
After meeting Samuel and Caitlin Dowe-Sandes in their Popham Design factory last fall, it was great to see their Marrakech home featured in the September issue of Elle Decor. They recently moved from the medina to a 1930's bungalow in Gueliz, the area designed by the French in 1913. With that history in mind, they designed the home to included plenty of French flea market finds paired with their Moroccan tiles.

London & The Cotswolds
I just got back from a wonderful sourcing trip in England. London is not only full of amazing home and antique stores but also a great destination for design inspiration.
I stayed a few days at the Dean Street Townhouse in Soho, which was a great home base because of its central location. Next I moved on to The Barnsley House, located in the picturesque Cotswold countryside and finished off the trip at the Zetter Townhouse, located in hip and happening East London.

Waterworks Lighting
Waterworks recently came out with some beautiful new lighting to add to their existing collection. They did a great job at designing transitional pieces that can be used in modern or traditional spaces. I especially like the ones with the hand blown glass and have already specified them for projects.
