MoMA Century of the Child

Over the course of the last century, the concept of childhood has changed dramatically. This transformation is evident in the gradual rise of things designed specifically for children.  On now through November 5, MoMA has a special exhibit devoted to this idea called Century of the Child: Growing by Design, 1900-2000.  The show is a broad overview of 20th century design for children including things such as architecture, clothing, playgrounds, toys, nurseries, furniture, and books. MoMA 11 West 53rd Street, NYC
